Privacy Policy

1. Our core principle

Images selected in PicFit are not uploaded to an external server. Reading, resizing, conversion, and ZIP compression happen only in your browser and device memory.

2. Images and work data

• We do not send or store originals or generated files.
• Working image data disappears when you close or refresh the tab.
• Downloads are saved only to the folder selected on your device.

3. Google AdSense and advertising data

PicFit currently includes a Google AdSense ownership-verification meta tag. Display ads and advertising requests are not enabled. If advertising is enabled later, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud and abuse. Where required, we will implement consent through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) before activation. 4. Cloudflare hosting and traffic and performance analytics

PicFit is served through Cloudflare and uses the Cloudflare Web Analytics script to measure visits and page loading and responsiveness. Page paths, referrers, browser and device information, and performance measurements may be sent to Cloudflare. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage to measure usage and does not fingerprint individuals. Hosting and security services may separately process the IP address and request information of web requests. Original and generated image files are not attached to analytics requests. 5. Language preferences and browser storage

Choosing a language saves only its language code in the picfit-locale cookie and a localStorage item with the same name. The cookie lasts for one year; localStorage may remain until you clear the site's data in your browser. On a later visit, the saved language cookie takes priority; otherwise we use the language preferences sent by your browser. These preferences do not store image files or conversion results. Clear PicFit cookies and site data in your browser settings to reset them.

6. Future changes

Before enabling advertising or changing analytics, account features or data processing, we will update this policy to reflect the actual service. Any change to local image processing will be clearly disclosed in the service.
